You Are What You Eat

you are what you eat

You’ve probably heard at one time or another -- probably by a parent -- that you are what you eat.

I bet you thought that it wasn’t true. There’s NO WAY you weren’t going to turn into a pizza or whatever you stuffed your face with as a kid.

But it is true, just not in the way you think.

According to an article by BrainMD, “The fuel we choose to eat can greatly affect our mood, energy, and our brain’s overall performance.” Since our brain is constantly working, even when we’re sleeping, we need to give it the food it needs to keep us going strong.

Which is hard as sh*t to do during a pandemic (thanks to The Covid🙄).

Right now, we’ve all been stuck inside during this lockdown, at a time where groceries and food is limited, so getting what we need is hard.

And one of the biggest things we’ve been missing because of that? Vitamin D.

Luckily, we’re able to get outside more and soak up that much-needed sunlight (being we’re heading into summer), but what else can you do to make sure you’re helping your body and your mind?

Stop eating all that comfort food.

Seriously.

Things like sugar, pasta, breads, potatoes, and even alcohol and caffeine can affect your mood, energy levels, and more.

But now that some places are reopening and we can (sort of) be around people again, it’s time to start boosting our immune systems. We were supposed to be doing that while in lockdown, unfortunately, most of us have not been and have probably even done the opposite. Lunchtime margaritas anyone? Oh? Was that only me? Doubt it!

I also need to clean up my diet and focus on boosting my immune system!

Check out the top foods to improve your health as we’re slowing lifted from lockdown:

  • Berries

  • Beans

  • Dark Chocolate

  • Fish

  • Herbal Teas

  • Leafy Greens

  • Whole Fruits

We already know how much the food we eat affects our bodies, but it’s also hard to get in the proper nutrients we need day in and day out, especially if we’re busy stuffing our faces with things we shouldn’t.

So what can you do to help? Use supplements.

I offer an abundance of top-tier supplements to help you boost your immune system, stay healthy, and improve your mood.

I got you.

Check out my full list of supplements here!

And you better stay tuned as I'm sooooo close to launching wellness boxes that are packed with all the essentials.

PS: those boxes are also the PERFECT way to try something new. 😉
