Client or Patient? Neither! It’s a Collaboration.

You know that feeling you get when you’re at the doctor’s office and they’re explaining what’s wrong with you and you just don’t buy it?

Yeah, that’s because you know your body.

I never did like the idea that a doctor or nurse or whatever person that’s treating you doesn’t take into consideration your thoughts and needs.

Sure, they most likely went to med school or something similar, but just because they know the human body, it doesn’t mean that they know YOUR body. (How many of you have gone to the doctor and you already know you will be walking out with amoxicillin to take for 11 days but not knowing the why--oh you have a bacterial infection. Okayyyyyyyyy.)

And this is exactly why when I treat you, we work together. We talk and piece together what could have caused the pain you are feeling in your hip, low back, jaw, etc..

I’m never going to be that one gal who just thrusts a treatment plan on you without consulting you about it. I’ll definitely tell you my opinion and what, from my experience, would benefit you the most, but I’ll leave it to you to decide if you want to do what I’m suggesting or if you want to tweak it a bit. Whatever you decide is fine, because again, we are working together to fix you.

Sure, I may call you my patient or my client, but in reality, you're just my peeps. The collaborative nature of how I run things is probably different than most, but that’s why you come to me and not someone random you found on Yelp. Or heck, maybe you did find me on Yelp, but something about my reviews spoke to you, and that’s great too!

One cool thing about this collaborative thing I’ve got going on is the vast array of people I see. They’re always sharing new knowledge with me that helps me better serve you.

Case in point: Dr. Jane with Blooming Chiropractic.

For those of you that have absolutely no idea who that is, I rent my office from her. But she’s also an amazing chiropractor, and we work on each other, so it’s like a win-win.

During a recent treatment with her, we’re just shooting the shit, and she shares with me a new product that she started using called Yarrow Pom. She was telling me about all the benefits it has, from being a powerful antioxidant, immune system booster, and how it's even good for your skin.

Would I have heard about that product without Jane? Probably.

Would it have been in the near future? Definitely not likely.

But it made me think: how many times have I been chatting with whoever is on my table and they’ve given me some great advice, health and wellness recommendations, or business connections?

More than I can remember.

This is all to say that as a patient or client or peep of mine, at the end of the day, we’re all working together to push each other to be the best version of ourselves.

So now that you know all this, here’s something you should also know:

This month you’re going to get a FREE Ear Seed add-on to any treatment you see me for, but it’s only good for one use per person this month.
